After a wet and dreary weekend came a glorious sunny crisp monday morning. I headed up to Munson Mountain where many a visitor and local are welcomed by this glorious vista. With only a few hours to capture the essence of this view. I did a quick pencil study in my sketchbook then set up my plein air easel. I managed to get a decent underdrawing done and some first early stages of the painting done. Many photos were taken and it was finished up at home. Original watercolour 15 x 22 inches unframed on 300 lb Arches cold pressed archival quality watercolor paper.
