Scott embarked on his journey into painting in 2012, inspired and encouraged by his older brother and started painting with watercolour immediately starting his very first painting En Plein Air in his back garden and has never looked back.
Painting mainly in watercolour, En Plein Air whenever possible and tackling any subject that catches his interest, Scott thrives on the challenges that arise from watercolours and applies them to any scenario whether the scene may be coastal, beaches, urban, people, mountain or countryside.
His style can be described as loose, dynamic, full of energy, light and colour.
" There's no time to dwell, it's all in the moment, the actuality of being in the right spot when the light falls just so and the scene comes alive" - Scott Pleydell-Pearce
