Painting mainly in watercolour, en plein air whenever possible and tackling any subject that catches his interest, Scott thrives on the challenges that arise from painting in watercolour and applies them to any scenario, coastal, beaches, urban, people, mountains or countryside.
His style can be described as impressionistic, dynamic, full of energy, light and colour.
ALL PAINTINGS
All paintings are original pieces of fine watercolour art, painted either on location or in the studio from the artists own photographs. Only the finest professional quality pigments and archival quality paper are used in the creation of these masterpieces. Currently, no prints are available, only unique original paintings.
At the end of 2025 Scott was awarded the prestigious title of Associate Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), based on Granville Island, Vancouver. You may often see his work there throughout the many exhibitions they hold. He has also held successful weekend workshops for the FCA.
In March 2025 Scott was selected to become a part of the UKAMA gallery on Vancouvers famous Granville Island, a prestigious art gallery showcasing many talented 2D and 3D sculptural artists.
