Don't see one of my existing paintings that really ticks all the boxes? then why not commission to me to do a bespoke painting just for you, one of your family members or a special friend?
Commissioning starts with getting in touch, drop me an email via the "CONTACT" page and we can start discussing your needs.
Usually folk have an existing photograph or a selection that they like, if you aren't sure which one might be best suited then send them all to me and i will select what i think works best for a painting and we can take it from there.
Next we can discuss the size of the painting giving due consideration to the fact that watercolour paintings need to be matted and framed for protection and best presentation.
Once we have reached a mutual agreement i will ask for confirmation that you are happy for me to proceed with the painting. When i have completed the painting i will email a watermarked digital file for your approval. Hopefully this is just a formality as watercolour paintings are virtually impossible to change or alter once completed due to the nature of the medium. Rest assured i do not present a painting to a customer if i am not 100 percent happy with it and to date all my customers have been overjoyed with the finished result.
I can advise on matt and frame sizes and colour but ultimately it is the customers decision based on where the painting is to hang in the home, office or den, their decor and of course their personal taste.
I will paint and ship the painting, the rest is up to the customer.
Prices will vary depending on size and complexity of the subject matter. This can all be discussed when we start our email conversation.
No deposit is required as i prefer to work on a trust building and hopefully, long relationship with my collectors.
All the above paintings were completed from the customers photographs, as you can see i can handle most subject matter.
Portraits may be considered but sorry no pet portraits (sorry, i love animals but painting them is not my forte)
Common painting sizes are 11 x 14, 14 x 19, 15 x 22 inches
The largest size i can paint is 22 x 30 inches
Matte size is commonly a 2 inch border and frame thickness is usually 2 inches as well. so if going with this formula you can add 4 inches to the width and height for the completed framed size.
I look forward to DISCUSSING your special commission with you.
