or you can purchaAll my paintings are originals not prints, painted only by me either Plein Air (on location) or at home painted from photographs that i have personally taken.
The watercolour paper i use is the finest quality you can buy, its called Arches and has been made in France since 1492, its 100% cotton and is of archival/museum quality. I use cold pressed/rough 300lb/640 gsm heavyweight which has a beautiful texture which enhances the the granulations in my skies and sparkle in my water.
The pigments i use to paint with are Daniel Smith professional quality watercolours. These are considered to be the finest in the world, they are lightfast which means they will not fade over time.
All paintings are sold without mattes or frames. Usually a 2" off-white matte and a simple and elegant contemporary 2" satin black frame suits my paintings the best, but this is only my humble opinion and you may well choose something different depending on your decor and preference. Non-reflective glass is more expensive but well worth it in my experience.
I can and have shipped my paintings worldwide. I pack them carefully and securely in multiple layers of cardboard and taped together, then in bubble wrapped envelopes. This has proved to be successful in all shipping cases. The cost of shipping depends on where you are in the world. I always recommend adding insurance to the shipping costs. As a rough example of shipping costs, $25 CAD will get a 11 x 14" painting across Canada in approx 3-4 days, if insurance is required this increase to approx $50. Larger paintings will likely increase the price of shipping. Shipping costs are in addition to the price of the painting.
Payments can be made via Paypal, interac, online banking transfer or by cheque (cheques will need to be cleared before i can ship the painting) or you can simply purchase the painting directly from this website via paypal. I will then send you a seperate paypal invoice for shipping.
Once you have chosen which painting you would like to own you can email me at [email protected] and we can finalise shipping costs and payment methods.
Please feel free to email me via the "CONTACT" page if you have any additional questions.
