After spending the Christmas week visiting family in France, i stopped off at Chartres near Paris on the drive back. Crossed a little bridge and this scene caught my eye. Did a little sketch and took a photo. Back in the studio using sketch and photo for reference i painted this. 16 x12 inches picture size. Arches 300 lb rough paper. Watercolour.
