Empty path - Original watercolour painting 16 x 20 inches
Often I travel around Greater Vancouver searching for somewhere to paint, but on this beautiful fall day I only had to walk 30 seconds from my back door to this spot on the West Dyke Trail. The trees were displaying their fall colours and the dropping sun cast long purple shadows on the path which led the eye to a glimpse of Vancouvers north shore mountains.
